These are the most common questions we get about Qurba, from the moment you order to the video. We have arranged them from ordering and payment, to execution and documentation, to religious rulings, to cancellation and refunds.
How do I track my order after paying?
Your order page is built within seconds of payment. You reach it from the "Track your order" button on the order status page, and the link is also in your order confirmation email. It shows the four order stages and the date of each one.
What payment methods are available?
Card or Apple Pay, and we do not ask for a shipping address since the sacrifice is carried out and distributed there.
Can I order from outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes, ordering is open from any country with no restrictions.
Does the price include extra fees?
No, the price shown is final and includes the slaughter, cutting, distribution, and documentation. Nothing is added at checkout.
When is my order slaughtered?
Orders placed before 4pm Saudi time enter the same day's execution round. We do not give an exact slaughter time down to the minute, only the day.
When do I get the execution video?
It is uploaded to your order page within 48 hours of the slaughter, and the name you wrote is spoken in it.
Can anyone else see the video?
No, the link is private to your order and is not shared. You decide who to send it to.
Where does the meat go?
It is distributed in full to families in need in the villages where we carry out execution, and none of it reaches you. That is the nature of the service.
Is it permissible to offer aqiqah or qurbani outside the owner's country?
Yes, on condition that a trustworthy person slaughters and distributes it on your behalf, as established in the rulings of scholars such as the late Sheikh Ibn Baz, though it is preferable to slaughter in one's own country when possible.
Is it permissible to appoint someone to slaughter on your behalf?
Yes, the person you appoint slaughters on your behalf provided the intention and the correct name are observed, and this is the basis of how Qurba operates.
Is qurbani permissible for someone who has passed away?
Yes, according to many scholars. Details in the article on qurbani for the deceased.
How many sacrifices does aqiqah require for a boy and a girl?
The tradition is two sacrifices for a boy and one for a girl. If only one sacrifice is possible for a boy, it still fulfills the tradition.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, before your order enters the "carried out" stage, with a full refund to the same payment method.
What happens if I cancel after the slaughter?
There is no cancellation after the slaughter, since the sacrifice has already taken place and its meat has been distributed. There are two exceptions: if the video is late past 48 hours from the slaughter, you choose between having the execution re-done or a full refund, and if the video names someone other than the name you wrote, we repeat the slaughter at our own cost.
