How to Choose an Online Aqiqah Service You Can Trust
Pick the service that shows you your own animal, sacrificed in your child's name, before it asks you to take its word for it. That means a video where the name is spoken aloud, a private tracking link for your order, a final price shown before you pay, a stated place of slaughter, and a commercial registration you can check yourself. If any of these is missing, ask about it before you pay.
Questions to ask before you pay
These are the same questions parents send us before ordering. The table gives the reason behind each one and Qurba's answer, so you can hold any other service to the same standard.
| Question | Why it matters | Qurba's answer |
|---|---|---|
| Is there a slaughter video with the name spoken? | Without the spoken name you cannot tell your animal from others slaughtered the same day | Yes. It is posted on your order page within 48 hours of the slaughter, and the name you wrote is said aloud in it |
| Where is the animal slaughtered? | The place decides the price and who eats the meat | In Africa, and all of the meat goes to families in need there |
| Is the price final? | Some services show the animal's price only and add slaughter and distribution later | The listed price covers slaughter, cutting, distribution and the video. Nothing is added at checkout |
| When will my order be carried out? | Aqiqah is tied to a day, and you want to know which one | Orders placed before 4 pm Saudi time join that day's execution queue. We give you the day, not the exact minute |
| What if the video is late? | The answer shows how confident the service is in its own delivery | If it is later than 48 hours you choose: we carry it out again, or you get a full refund |
| Who is behind the website? | A commercial registration ties the site to an accountable entity | Saudi commercial registration 7037954314, verified by the Saudi Business Center, certificate 0000131127 |
| Can I cancel? | Plans change | Yes, until the order reaches the "Executed" stage, with a full refund to the same payment method |
A local slaughterhouse, a charity, or an online service?
All three are valid ways to do aqiqah. The difference is what you want from the experience.
A slaughterhouse in your city suits you if you want to attend and hold a meal for family. You see everything yourself and the meat is yours.
A charity is a comfortable choice if you know and trust it. Ask one question before paying: will I get a video of my animal with my child's name, or a general report on the whole project?
An online service like Qurba suits you if you want the meat to reach people who need it, order from your phone in any country, and follow the order until you see the video. Before ordering from any service, put it through the questions above.
When Qurba is not the right fit
- If you want the meat for yourself or for an aqiqah meal, Qurba does not ship meat. All of it is distributed there.
- If attending the slaughter in person matters to you.
- Mada cards are not accepted for now. We take cards and Apple Pay.
- Need an exact hour? We confirm the day of execution, not the time.
How to check the video when it arrives
Open your order page, look at the date of the "Executed" stage, then play the clip. You should hear the name you wrote and see a printed sign with the name and order number. To see the page before you order, here is a sample order page.
Quick answers
What matters most when choosing an aqiqah website?
That the video has your child's name spoken aloud and reaches you on a private link for your order. A general photo or group report does not prove your animal was slaughtered.
Is aqiqah valid if it is done outside my country?
Scholars hold it valid when a trustworthy person slaughters and distributes it on your behalf, though doing it in your own country is preferred when easy. Details and fatwas are in Can aqiqah and qurbani be done abroad.
How much is aqiqah at Qurba?
A goat is 449 SAR, a sheep 569 SAR and a ram 669 SAR. The boy's bundle of two animals starts at 898 SAR. The price on each product page at the time of ordering is the one that applies.
Can I order from outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes, from any country, by card or Apple Pay, with no shipping address.
