Why a hand pump?
A hand pump needs no electricity or fuel, which matters in villages without power. The downside is that water comes up by hand. If you want water stored and drawn from a tap, choose the option with a tank.
How long it takes
Drilling takes about 10 days from the day the team starts on site. Each finished stage adds its clip to your order page.
تفاصيل أكثر
A water well 24 metres deep with a hand pump, drilled in a village in Africa in your name or the name of someone you love. Ongoing charity whose reward continues as long as people drink from it, God willing.
What sets us apart is the documentation. You do not get one photo after the work is done. Every stage has its own clip on your order page: drilling, the pump, the first water, and the plaque.
The two options
Well with a hand pump: the well, the pump, the name plaque and the documentation.
Well with a tank and taps: the same well, with a tank and taps added.
